Soundcraft Si+
The multi award-winning series of Soundcraft Si mixing consoles has received an upgrade, which provides more inputs on the Si1 and Si2 versions plus additional functionality and options across the range. The new Si1+ and Si2+ have 16 additional mic inputs fitted as standard, bringing the number of on-board mic inputs to 48 / 64 and processing capacity of 72 / 80 inputs to mix. The 16 additional mic inputs can be exchanged for an 8 mic input + 8 line output module if required. The product family has four dedicated Stereo Line channels and four dedicated FX Returns from the four stereo Lexicon FX processors. Eight balanced insert sends and returns are provided along with a vast bus count of 24 Group/Aux busses, 8 matrix busses and a full complement of monitor talkback and main bus outputs. The number of option card slots increases to four, and there is now a space for an optional second (redundant) PSU. All three models gain a word clock out as standard, and all models can use the range of Si optional interface cards including MADI (optical or Cat5), AES/EBU, CobraNet and Aviom A-Net. The Soundcraft Si+ series will appeal to those wanting a compact and highly-featured digital consoles at a competitive price.
